Here is an update on the P.O.N.s for the 2010/2011 academic year.  We could be seeing official openings for EFL "expert" teachers in the public schools as early as September.  If you are interested in knowing more about this, stay tuned and check in often.  You won't have a lot of time to get organized and maximize your eligibility after the announcements go public, so NOW is the time to take that TEFL certification class and/or think about getting some experience with short-term or seasonal jobs.  ACLE language camps offer summer jobs to young people who want to teach English in Italy.  Here is the official link to the organization's criteria page.
